All our meat boxes are made from recyclable cardboard. Inside we use wool sheets to keep the temperature cool. The plastic pouch is recyclable, and the wool can be used for many things including plant bedding, pet bedding, water pipe insulation and bird nesting material. The ice packs can simply be put back in the freezer and used time and time again.
How to store your meat
Your meat will arrive in a temperature controlled box and will either be fresh, frozen or semi frozen. This is completely fine and simply pop it into the freezer. Natures best preservative is ice and doing it this way ensure all the nutrients and goodness is locked in. Simply remove the meat you wish to use from the freezer to defrost overnight in your refrigerator. Then simply cook and enjoy.
