Ever wondered how sausages are made and fancy giving it a go? Or are you stuck for a special Birthday or Christmas gift for the foodie in your life?

The course lasts between 2-3 hours and takes place in our butchery on our family farm here in Herefordshire. You will learn all there is to no in the art of sausage making from Aimee who has over 10 years experience. This is a hands on course and you will cover the following-

- De-boning a shoulder of pork and which cuts to use
- Different meats and flavours
- Different machines and methods for making sausages
- Mincing and mixing
- Stuffing the sausage skins and linking

Refreshments are served on arrival and also at the end along with cake or biscuits!

Each person will take home the sausages they have made.

These are informal courses and designed to be fun but informative for anyone who wants to make their own sausages at home.

Minimum of 2 per course and a maximum of 4. Individual places can be booked and we will arrange a mutually convenient time to book you with another person.

Cost: £70 per person*- All materials are included and you'll take away your own handmade bangers!

*Payment must be made in full. This can be made via bacs bank transfer, or pop up to our farm to pay via card or with cash. 7 days notice is required for cancellations or change of dates before your booked course date. Less than 7 days and you will loose 1 place cost of £70. Those with gift vouchers must give 7 days notice if you are unable to make the course date and you can change the date for free. Less than 7 days incurs the above £70 charge. (This is due the having to pre-order and buy fresh meat and produce for the course which has to be done in advance)
